Retail Leasing Post-Covid: Best Practices

November 5, 2021 • Marriott Marquis, San Francisco — Ellen Sinreich and International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) co-presented an advanced workshop at ICSC’s 2021 Law Conference exploring how the legal leasing process has changed as a result of the pandemic and last year’s episodes of civil unrest. All aspects of retail leasing are up for grabs, whether it be the business terms, the lease itself or the standard operating procedures of the landlord and tenant. We discussed the emerging do’s and don’ts following this unprecedented period of turmoil and uncertainty.
