John F. Kennedy International Airport

February 19, 2020 • Ellen Sinreich and ULI NY presented an in-depth understanding of the modernization of NYC’s three major airports, including the history of each project and its likely impact on real estate. Over the next several years, the Port Authority is committing an unprecedented $30B in public and private funding to NYC airports, ushering in true 21st century gateways that will continue to transform our region. JFK’s $13B revitalization plan includes a unified terminal layout, centralized ground transportation options, and expanded taxiways and gate capacity. LaGuardia will be substantially rebuilt as part of an $8B project including a new central terminal building, and additional mass transit connections. Newark’s new Terminal One will be New Jersey’s largest design-build project.
